Hey there, my name is Anastasia and I have been cooking since I was a kid while watching my mom and grandmother cook (to secretly steal their secrets). I would watch food network and follow recipes, but along the way I just would modify things and add my own flair to recipes, or even make my own from scratch and imagination. My interests with food didn’t end there, and I eventually would self teach with books on nutrition and healthy eating. I also went to a high school that focused on journalism and media, so I also have had a passion for writing and taking pictures of what I make.
Soon, I wanted to study it in college and I now have my Bachelors in Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, and just ended my Masters in Science program for Nutrition and Exercise Science. I am Greek, but being in a densely diverse and populated city has allowed for me to be immersed in many foods and cuisines from many cultures that I have come to appreciate. I am a combination of sugar, spice and everything nice, and I hope to bring you on a culinary adventure mixed with a splash of education.
